The Temiskaming Health Unit has declared the whooping cough outbreak to be over.

It was declared back in November, with the last positive case diagnosed January 24th.

That means 48 days clear per ministry mandate.

In all there were 41 confirmed cases, 36 in Temiskaming Shores, 2 in the Englehart area, and 3 in Kirkland Lake.
