Temiskaming Shores Residents Get A Closer Look At A Budget

It is taking a while but Temiskaming Shores Council is slowly putting together a budget.

Chris Oslund is the city manager and says they have received direction from council.

” At our last meeting we reviewed the capitol budget, and we have about 6 millions dollars in projects we are looking at in 2019, and council gave us some direction to look at a 2 per cent levy increase, and also some scenarios for water and sewers so we will be bringing back some information to council on March 12th. ”

He says at this point water bills are expected to go up about 100 dollars but again, council still has to approve all of this.
