Tomorrow will be a day of action for Unifor, and other unions, as they take their cries for a return of Northern passenger rail service to the front door of the Ontario treasurer.

They are organizing a protest event for North Bay and will march from the museum to the front door of Vic Fedeli’s office.

Local Unifor president Valery Kennedy says “ we want the PC government to understand that we can’t be left in the dark n the North, and it is also all the other cuts they are doing to this beautiful province.”

The march begins at 12:30 with food and festivities to follow.

There will be buses rolling from most of Northern Ontario to get protesters into town.
