Stay Safe Near Flood Waters

Temiskaming Shores officials are urging residents to keep safety top of mind when near bodies of water.

With more warm weather and rain on the way, water levels in Lake Temiskaming and its tributaries continue to rise.

City officials are urging all residents to stay away from the shorelines, and to keep a watchful eye on children and pets near any bodies of water.

They say the ice near the shorelines is unstable and the water is very cold and moving quickly.
