There will be a couple of blood donor clinics in the area next week under the Sirens For Life Banner.

Local paramedics are encouraging others to roll up their sleeves for a great cause.

Kayla Wilson is a primary care paramedic with Temiskaming District.

“ We are challenging anybody in the community, and specifically our local OPP, Fire, first responders, and volunteers to come out. Also nurses and doctors to come out and donate.”

The first clinic is Tuesday July 30th at Northern College, 140 Government Road East in Kirkland Lake from 4-7 pm.

The next day, July 31st in New Liskeard at Riverside Place, 55 Whitewood Avenue from 2-7 pm.

Just one person injured in an accident can require as many as 50 blood donations to help save their life.
