Ontario Pitches In To Help With Alberta Wild Fire


Ontario has sent 80 wild fire experts to a Alberta to help battle a huge blaze in the northern part of the province.

The workforce is drawn from aviation, forest fire, and emergency services and left Friday bound for High Level to battle the Chuckegg Creek fire.

It has grown to over 1.000 square km.

More than 350 firefighters are now on the lines. 

The major concern at this point will be wind direction and sudden shifts.
