The Train will be soon be bidding a fond farewell to it’s conductor – Lee Marshall.

After nearly 50 years in the radio biz, Lee is hanging up his headphones are of himself.

Lee Marshall has been the heart and soul of The Train. With a lifetime in the broadcasting business, Lee is the architect behind the evolving sound of 103.1 FM. Lee has never taken his responsibility as an on air personality for granted. It has been his distinct pleasure to wake up alongside those in Temiskaming and provide you with the radio you’ve been asking for.

You will no doubt continue to see Lee locally – he’s pretty hard to miss. Lee has always enjoyed and appreciated the quality of life that’s found in the smaller, more tightly-knit communities which conveniently make up the heart and soul of the District of Temiskaming.

A long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Lee has always loved music – that’s the main reason why he decided at the age of 10 to make radio his chosen profession. He golfs, curls and enjoys most sports, boating and the great outdoors.

The Train – and everyone who has worked alongside Lee in recent years at Five Amigos Broadcasting, with Lee the very best.

Thanks, Lee!
