Water levels in the North Bay area are starting to going down, but that could change.
Curtis Romanchuk, the Water Resources Engineer with the North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority, says significant rain could cause more flooding.
As for the Temiskaming Shores area, Romanchuk says most of the run-off is coming from the Ottawa River.
“The water levels in Temiskaming are starting to get a bit high, there are some MNRS flood warnings for that area and we’ll continue to watch the forecast for the Ottawa River as the melt moves forward.”
North Bay has been under a flood watch since April 18th.
