Cobalt Takes Steps To Improve Water Supply

The town of Cobalt is looking to improve their water supply but it doesn’t come cheap.

Council has gone ahead with a plan to add a new storage tank to the treatment facility and that will allow them to increase their reserves.

Councillors also learned they will have to empty the current tank for interior repairs, and fix the ladder.

The cost is 1.8 million dollars, so they also went ahead and added an extra 80 thousand to cover any cost over runs.

They are expected to tender the project later this month.
