The District School Board Ontario North East has delivered a balanced budget for the school year.

Chairman Bob Brush told 103-1 the train it wasn’t easy.

“ We had one last year so this is two years in a row, although we have always been compliant.

Our staff has always done a good job, but this year with the new government, and new direction from the ministry of education we were quite happy to have received a balanced budget”.

The budget came in at just over $126 million dollars, and Brush said “the allocations will support our priorities and a positive future story for all DSB1 students.”
